Founding Partners

Lida Tan

President

Lida is the co-founder and president of Anew Global Consulting, as well as board member of the Inogen Alliance. Previously, she served as the Supplier Responsibility Program Manager at Apple, Clean Air Act 112(r) and Risk Management Inspector at US Environmental Protection Agency, and Remedial Project Manager at USEPA Region 9. Lida brings decades of experience working with multinational companies and their value chain partners, with a verifiable history of leading performance to best-in-class levels.

Lida earned a Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is currently located in Irvine, California

Michael Liang

Senior Partner

Michael is the co-founder and senior partner at Anew Global Consulting. He brings over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, including seven years as ERM Group's regional manager. Michael has a detailed understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and institutions currently governing foreign investment in China and the larger APAC Region. His audit experience has covered a variety of industries.

Michael holds a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan. He is currently located in Guangzhou, China.

Joseph Gui

Managing Director

Joseph is the co-founder and managing director of Anew Global Consulting. Previously, he served as the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Manager at Apple China for four years, designing and implementing programs to ensure supplier facilities meet Apple and local regulatory requirement. Joseph also brings over ten years of experience in sustainability consulting and design engineering. He is a certified Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Engineer,Environmental Protection Engineer, Safety Engineer, and Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

Joseph holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University and an EMBA degree from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He is currently located in Shanghai, China.
