The Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI) is a non-profit industry association founded in 2006 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. PSCI membership includes leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare companies worldwide. Currently, more than 80 global companies participate in the initiative, including over 30 full member companies.
PSCI focuses on improving supply chain performance in key areas including ethics, labor and human rights, health and safety, environmental protection, and management systems. Its standards are widely recognized as a benchmark for responsible supply chain management in the pharmaceutical sector.
PSCI implements its standards through supplier audit and capability-building programs. Member companies conduct audits of their suppliers to ensure compliance with PSCI requirements and to promote continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Audits may be conducted by qualified internal auditors from PSCI member companies or by approved independent third-party audit firms. PSCI has authorized a limited number of professional audit organizations worldwide to perform these assessments, and Anew Environment is honored to be included among them.
